Stop slugs and snails getting into your pots with this self adhesive copper tape which is simply applied to the rim or base of the pot and forms a barrier snails and slugs will not cross.
Why? The slug's slimy mucus reacts to the copper resulting in an electrical charge thus the slug or snail gets a small electric shock, deterring it from crossing the copper tape.
With its serrated edge this tape forms a formidable barrier against both snails and slugs. It's long lasting, looks good and sticks to any clean dry pot.
5m / 15ft in length.
Hints for use: Silica is now being used in the production of some pots stopping the tape from sticking. Wash pots in warm water plus washing up liquid and allow to dry. Where to use: On any containers around the rim or the base. How to use: 'Split the pack to give 2 rolls x 2.5m. Remove the protective paper backing and apply directly to clean dry surface. Stick on in shorter lengths and overlap each one. (In cold weather warm the tape up to stick better). Serrated edge facing down
The edges of the tape are sharp. Be careful when handling the tape.
