Biodegradable Coir Pot - Large (10.75cm rim) - Single Pot £0.50

These coir pots are great for planting cuttings and seedlings in and then, once they're big enough, you can plant the whole thing on - including the biodegradable pot - out in the garden without disturbing the roots.

These lovely pots are made from coir and latex and formed in a warm mould for lasting strength. Using them not only helps avoid root damage but also cuts down on the use of plastic pots in the garden.

They remain sturdy above ground for around 9-12 months and will become 'hairy' along the way. They will biodegrade in 2-3 months underground.

• No root disturbance

• Fully sustainable
— the pots are made from renewable coir fibres (waste from the coconut industry) and naturally occurring latex

• Coir allows water and air to move through the pots while retaining the compost, keeping plants healthy

Approximate size dimensions of large pots:
Height - 9cm, Diameter - 10.75cm
